Hawaii Bowhunting Outfitters is not just taking people on bowhunt
adventures.. but they are starting up a youth program as well -
teaching kids about land stewardship in addition to responsible archery
and hunting skills. They are trying to find a balance
with the ungulates that are overgrazing and causing damage, and one of
the ways they are doing it is by beginning a program where they are
planting/re-introducing endemic species like Mamane, Naio and Koa as
part of their efforts in the youth program.
